The goal was to assess the region\u2019s potential for birdwatching tourism.<\/p><p>During the expedition, three bird survey methods were applied, resulting in the recording of nearly 100 species \u2014 including migratory birds and those native to the Amazon. The study added 25 new species to the park\u2019s checklist, which now includes around 390 documented birds.<\/p><p>The initiative reinforces the ecological and tourism value of the region, home to unique environments such as rocky grasslands and igarap\u00e9 forests.
